Port Blair, Nov. 18: The Directorate of Social Welfare is conducting ‘Hasgulla and Laughter Club’ under ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan’ regularly. This is a unique initiative aimed at spreading joy and laughter throughout the community of this Union Territory. This free and interactive program is taking place every Sunday from 6 am to 7.30 am at Joggers Park, Port Blair.

The Housing & Estate Section, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, Secretariat has allotted around 24 Nos. Govt. Accommodations (Type-I, Type-II & Type-Ill) vide Order Nos. 3081, 3082 and 3083 dated 01st November, 2023 respectively under General category through the Automated Allotment of Government Accommodation     Application (computerized system). All applicants who have got quarter allotted through the above Application may send their claims/grievances, if any related to allotment of Govt. accommodations to the Assistant Secretary (H&E), Secretariat, Port Blair within 07 (seven) days of the publication of the press release.

Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands mourns the passing of Smti. K. Shanti, age 64 wife of K. Vasudev, retired organizer PBMC, residence of Machiline who expired on 19th November at 9:50 a.m at G.B Pant Hospital.

The Member of Parliament prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and for enough strength for the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Port Blair, Nov. 18: Firing practice will be carried out at Baffle Range on Nov. 22 and Chinthe Long Range on Nov. 29 for Small Arms Firing practice from 9.30 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm (Day Firing) and 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm (Ni Firing). All concerned have been warned to keep themselves and their livestock away from the firing area during the above mentioned date and time.

Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI has deeply mourned the sad demise of Smt. K Shanti (Aged 64Yrs) W/o Shri K Vasudevan (Organiser PBMC) R/o Machhiline Shadipur, who left for heavenly abode on 19-11-2023 at 08.30 AM at G.B. Pant Hospital. Shri Jolly prayed to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul and to give strength to her bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Last rites will be held tomorrow from her residence.
